These terms cover visits to FURNACE, a high performance PC club, and the use of our website and booking form. By reserving a rig or spending time on the floor, you agree to the house rules below. They exist to keep the hardware healthy and the room fair for everyone in it.
Booking and warm-up
A booking holds one station on the row and for the session length you select. Every booking opens with a free 15-minute warm-up to tune the rig to your hand before the paid clock starts. Please arrive on time: if a seat sits empty past its start, we may release it to someone waiting. Rates and open hours are shown on the site and at the desk, and may change without notice.
Care for the hardware
Our machines run hot on purpose and stay stable because they are looked after. Do not open cases, unplug loops, remove parts, or install software that is not part of a station. Food and drink stay clear of the keyboards. If something is not working right, tell the desk rather than trying to fix it yourself. You are responsible for deliberate damage you cause to equipment or the room.
Conduct on the floor
Treat staff and other guests with respect. Keep the volume reasonable, the aisles clear, and your session civil. We ask everyone to game fairly and within the rules of the titles they play. Behaviour that threatens, harasses, or endangers others ends a session immediately, without refund, and may end future access.
Entertainment only
FURNACE is a place to play games on strong hardware in a cool, quiet room. It is entertainment. Any in-club events, ladders, or leaderboards are scored on points, time, and skill only. There are no money stakes and no cash prizes of any kind here.
Our service
We work to keep every rig running and the floor at a steady temperature, but we cannot promise a specific station will always be free or fault-free. If a machine fails during your paid time, we will move you to another seat or make the time good. Our responsibility is limited to the value of the session affected.
